Emma Hayley Jensen

           About Me

Emma was born and raised on the Gulf Coast of Florida where her love of the arts began at an early age. At 5, she made her stage debut as the Begger Girl in The House of Bernarda Alba at the University of West Florida. Growing up she studied improv, Shakespeare, musical theater, ballet, jazz, and choral singing. In 2009 she performed with the national tour of The Wizard of Oz as a Lollipop Guild Munchkin/Winky Guard. She trained with the Joffrey Ballet School for their musical theater summer intensives in NYC and London.

At 18, she moved to NYC to attend the Institute for American Musical Theater where she graduated in 2021. During her time in NYC, she continued to train in various dance styles at Broadway Dance Center and Steps on Broadway with teachers such as Ricky Hindes, Jessica Lee Goldyn, Lindsay Lancaster, Lizz Picini, Nathalie Marable and Christine Cornish Smith.

While focusing on her theater training, she was given opportunities to branch out and began to develop of love of film acting. She has since been fortunate to work on commercials, television, short and feature films. She plans to continue to pursue working both on stage and on screen.

She currently resides in Austin, TX where she brings heart, grit and a touch of sparkle to every role. She played the leading role of queer horoscope columnist Sam in the short film FUCKING GEMINIS directed by Abbey Webber. She performed at the 2026 Austin Theater Critics Award Show finale number choreographed by Matt Kennedy. She made her stage debut in Austin this summer as ensemble/dance captain in Jesus Christ Superstar at Georgetown Palace Theater directed by Jamie Rogers and choregraphed by Matt Kennedy.
